Sport and recreation clubs build stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities.

Bayswater Bowling and Recreation Club is licensed as a Private Club and Membership is required for;

* entry into the Club,

* use of our facilities,

* and service of drinks.

Our Fees are payable as follows and are due on the 1st June every year, regardless of when you first sign up (ie: no pro rata):

  • Full Membership – $77*
  • Honorary Life Member (Active) – $0
  • Restricted Member – $55*
  • Social Member – $10*
  • Junior Member (Ages 12-18) – $15*

Full Member

Persons of or above the age of 18 years entitled to exercise the full privileges of the Club.  A full member shall not become an employee of the Club unless by a proper arrangement sanctioned at a meeting of Management Committee and reviewed as necessary.

Honorary Life Member

Any member recommended by the Management Committee to a General Meeting of the Club and elected at such meeting to be an Honorary Life member for long and conspicuous service to the Club and shall enjoy all privileges of a Full Member. Honorary Life Members shall not exceed 10 living members at one time and not more than two shall be elected in one year.  Any Life Member considered active as under the definition of Bowls WA will pay the tabled fee only.

Restricted Member

A Member that is fully financial with voting rights, but does not play in any Association game or Club Championships. They also have access to play social bowls on the greens when not in use.

Social Member

Persons of or above the age of 18 years (including all affiliated clubs) who may enjoy the privileges of the Club but shall not be eligible:

  1. to stand for any office in the Club or vote in any ballot or at a General Meeting of the Club.
  2. to propose or second any application for membership of the Club.
  3. to use the greens except at a specific invitation of a Club Committee Member.

Junior Member

Persons of not less than 12 years of age and under 18 years, who may enjoy  all the privileges of the Club but shall not be eligible:

  1. to stand for any office in the Club or vote in any ballot or at a General Meeting of the Club.
  2. to propose or second any application for membership of the Club.
  3. to invite guests into the Club.

Temporary Members

A person who on any day is visiting the Club as a member or an official of, or a person assisting a team that is to contest a pre-arranged event in that sport on that day; or at the invitation of a member to engage in that sport on that day; may be taken to be a person who is afforded temporary membership on that day.
