Social Bowls – Bayswater Bowling & Recreation Club

Challenge your friends to a fun game of social bowls. Partner it up with some food and drinks for an action packed event.

Our synthetic lawn can host up to 56 players. Teams usually consist of 4-8 people.
Social bowls cost $10 per person.
All equipment provided including bowls, mats and a bowler giving you some tips to get started.
Great for novices, experienced, young, old, competitive or a bit of fun.
Perfect for engagement parties, birthday parties, corporate events, networking events or a relaxed Sunday of afternoon fun.

The great thing about lawn bowls is that you can make it as casual or competitive as you like.

If you are a novice or just need a quick refresher, one of our club members will be on hand to take you through the rules and techniques.

Keep the rules simple and the closest to the jack (the little yellow ball) wins each end.

We can accommodate groups up to 56 people at one time or you can come down on your own for a roll.

Note: Bowls season runs all year. We will try our best to accommodate your request but please understand that our bowlers take priority. Saturday Social Bowls is not available from 12pm to 5pm.

We are evolving and always improving!

RENOVATIONS

Improvements around the Club are ongoing. The newly finished lawned area will be great for that outdoor picnic feeling now that the shade sails cover the whole area. The childrens' play area is now complete and signed off. The pathway and landscaping around the Slab is now finished. The new shade structures around A Green look great and throw some nice shade over the picnic area in the afternoon. A new basketball hoop/backboard has recently been installed on the slab and a 3 on 3 court marked out. A Netball court has also been marked out on the slab and some drop in poles will be installed soon. Something is always happening as our work is never done!

SOCIAL BOWLS

Social Bowl for only $10 per person. Small or large groups catered for. For something different and a little competitive, gather your co-workers and have a roll whilst enjoying our competitively priced drinks. Please submit an enquiry form found on the VENUE HIRE page for availability.
