The BBRC is a Community Club.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: COVID-19 UPDATE 8/5/2021 – BAYSWATER BOWLS AND RECREATION CLUB
The Club has re-opened and there is no longer a need to wear a mask, either indoors or outside.
We have arranged the seating to represent our seating capacity following the 2 x sq metre restriction still in place. We ask that you do not remove seating from another area and place it into a different area, as you may be contravening this ruling. If there’s no seats left in one area, we are at full capacity. Try another area and if they are all full, we ask you to please leave and come back later.
Stay tuned for more announcements as they come out.
Keep in mind that it is still a legal requirement to sign in when attending the Club. We have a QR code for those with the SafeWA App or an old fashion sign-in book. Please ensure you sign in as soon as you arrive and practice good hygiene and use the hand sanitisers around the Club.
We still ask that all our patrons respect each others space and keep the 1.5 metre distance rule, take note of the signage around the Club and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Our normal opening days will now included Saturday to 6pm – The bar will open (Wednesday 3-9.30pm, Friday 3-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm and Sunday 2-6pm) but will be:
o Table spacing arrangements to allow for adequate social distancing. Please avoid moving tables and chairs around unless you are from the same family.
o Additional cleaning measures put in place.
o Food vendors will need to undertake a Covid-19 declaration process.
The health of our members is important to the BBRC committee and we also need to take steps
to protect everyone’s health and well-being from COVID-19. We still need to be vigilant.
We request that members and visitors DO NOT ATTEND THE CLUB ROOMS FOR 14 DAYS IF:
• You or a household member have been in contact with a person isolated by a medical
practitioner or confirmed with COVID-19
• You have returned from overseas since the imposed Government self-isolation ruling came
• You have any flu-like symptoms such as respiratory symptoms, headache, fever, shortness
of breath, cough or muscle pain
• You are awaiting results of a Covid-19 test
Hygiene is an important tool in helping to prevent the spread of this disease and we request
members follow all the recommended steps, such as washing of hands regularly, keeping distance
between yourselves and others (1.5 metres), coughing and sneezing into the inside of the elbow. We
recommend that you use the hand sanitisers supplied around the Club regularly throughout the day.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation in supporting these requirements and we will
provide a further update as and when they come to hand. Should you require any further
clarification please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are proud of our club, our volunteers and our staff and we invite you to join us for a relaxed and impressive experience.
We are located 58 Murray Street in Bayswater, next to the Tennis Club.

The club is quickly becoming a vibrant hub for the local community to gather and relax in a child-friendly environment. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends, both old & new.
There is always plenty on at The BBRC
See What’s On!
We openly invite you to bring along a group of friends and try your hand at social bowls (or join our league), come down and watch the AFL on the big screen or watch those fearless Street Roller Hockey players from the new deck.
Children can bring their skates, skateboards, scooters, and bikes to ride on the rink when the hockey players aren’t playing.
